Empowerment Fund

Our distributions around the country are carefully designed to harness the power of Zakat and Sadaqa, we want to not only help people in poverty today, but support them to escape poverty for good.

We do this by ensuring that our application process is thorough so as to identify the most suitable way to assist our applicants who come from different backgrounds. For those who are more apt for self-employment we take them through a short but exhaustive training where qualified instructors take them through short causes on entrepreneurship, book keeping, marketing, saving and investing.

7,000,000 Kenya shillings was distributed through our empowerment fund to 56 beneficiaries, each receiving 125,000 Kenya shillings to help them set up a small business.
