1. What courses or skills are being offered in the Zakat Kenya vocational training program?
We offer practical training in the following skills:

Masonry

3D Design

Phone Repair

Carpentry and Joinery

Electrical Installation

Plumbing and Pipe Fitting

Automotive Engineering

Tiling

And many more

2. Who is eligible to apply?
The program is open to:

Youth from eligible zakat recipients (poor or needy)

School dropouts, job seekers, and those seeking skills

Both male and female applicants

Kenyan citizens

No formal education requirements for most courses

3. Is there an age limit for participants?
Yes. Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old.

4. How long does the training take?
New intakes begin every quarter. Each course lasts 3–6 months, depending on the skill area.

5. Where will the training be held?
Training centers are located in:

Nairobi

Mombasa

Garissa

Kisumu

Wajir
Exact locations will be shared with successful applicants.

6. Are there any fees, or is it fully sponsored?
The program is fully sponsored for eligible students. There are no tuition or registration fees. All learning materials are provided, but students must commit to full attendance and active participation.

7. What documents are needed for application?
Applicants must submit:

A copy of National ID or birth certificate

One passport-sized photo

A brief letter of motivation (optional but encouraged)

Any relevant certificates (if available)

8. Will there be a certificate after completion?
Yes. All graduates receive a certificate of completion, and some courses offer NITA-accredited certification.
